Citroen C3 Picasso 1.6 eHDI 92 Stage 1 Remap

Results: 120 BHP • 290 Nm

The Stage 1 Remap is designed to run safely on a standard car and does not need any modifications. The 1.6 eHDI 92BHP 8V engine fitted with the Bosch EDC17C10 ECU goes to 120BHP and 290Nm on a Stage 1 Remap. This remap is designed to run with the DPF in place and is road legal.

The Stage 1+ remap gives a little bit extra on top of the normal Stage 1 map. For this remap it’s essential that the exhaust system is upgraded to a straight through style exhaust. The results from this remap are typically 300Nm and 125 BHP.

1.6 eHDI 92 8V Stage 2 Remap

Results: 130 BHP • 310 Nm

We designed a Stage 2 remap for the 1.6 8v engine which keeps the DPF in place. For this Remap an upgraded intercooler and DPF back exhaust system are essential. In our testing we found that the 1.6 eHDI 8V suffers from heat soak when on the dyno due to the way air passes over the factory intercooler. A front mount intercooler upgrade makes a huge difference on the dyno, and even more on the road.

1.6 eHDI 92 Stage 3 Remap – GTD1244VZ Turbo upgrade

Results: 150 BHP • 330 Nm

HDI Tuning are able to offer a VNT turbo upgrade which works on the factory ECU with minimal work required. The turbo comes from the 1.6 BlueHDI 120, it’s a GTD1244VZ with part number 819872. An intercooler and exhaust system is essential for this setup.

Follow the installation guide here.

You cannot run this turbo upgrade without a remapping the ECU and you can’t drive with it fitted until the software is adjusted. It’s best to fit the turbo once you have the software ready to program to the ECU. The normal approach is to order a MyGenius tool, read out the ECU and get the Stage 3 remap prepared by us, then you can fit the turbo afterwards without needing to drive to a tuning shop.

Programming Methods – OBD2 or bench programming

We recommend to use only genuine tuning tools to program the EDC17C10 over OBD. Dimsport MyGenius is able to do this over OBD by taking a virtual read and then offers full programming capabilities with the option to change maps whenever you choose. We can also work with you with other tools if you are a professional tuner.

Recommended programming method:

Program over OBD using the Dimsport MyGenius standalone tool
