Our Stage 1 remap takes the Peugeot Citroen Fiat 2.2 HDI EU5 engine to 168 BHP and 410Nm. When tuning a work van or a motor home, reliability is key, so although it’s possible to go for much more power on this engine we like to keep the power rather modest at just 168BHP. We’ve designed the torque curve to be smooth and driveable to protect your cargo and also the gearbox. Bench programming is difficult on the SID208 ECU because several boot pins are required with most tools. It’s easier to rogram over OBD. If you order the Magic motorsport IXI tool you can assign it to HDI tuning, and then program directly over OBD it’s a fairly straight forward process.
