1.6 BlueHDI SCR AdBlue diagram

HDI Tuning has the most up to date programming equipment enabling us to access the (tuning protected) EDC17C60 ECU of your 1.6 BlueHDI. We also have one of the most advanced remaps available for this engine type due to our extensive research and development, we can unlock the full potential of your Blue HDI whilst maintaining full reliability and remaining well within the engines safe limits.

The 75 BHP and also the 100 BHP variants of the 1.6 Blue HDI are fitted with the exact same components, this is good news as you can remap for more power without needing to upgrade your vehicle in any way.

If you would like to program yourself from home, you can use a tool called KTM Bench, and this can program the ECU without needing to open the lid in MEDC17 Boot loader boot, this is an excellent feature.

Stage 1 Remap - 120 BHP

Our Stage 1 remap will take your 75 BHP blue HDI to 120BHP and a whopping 295Nm of torque. Our stage 1 remap provides constant smooth torque through the entire rev range whilst remaining well within the safe limits of your clutch and turbo charger. The AdBlue and DPF systems will not be affected by this remap as we remain well within stock air fuel ratios to promote a clean soot less burn. Pricing: Postal remapping service £200, Online remapping service £150 (program yourself).

Stage 3 remap - 141 BHP

We've developed an advanced VNT turbo upgrade remap which uses the same turbo as the 1.6 120 BHP model. The turbo used here is a GTD1244VZ from the 1.6 120 model which is almost a direct fit. The injectors used are the same on both the 75, 100 and 120 BHP models so there is no need to upgrade these, although for maximum performance we would recommend an intercooler upgrade. This gives excellent performance figures with 320Nm torque and 150 BHP. Online remapping service, postal remap service: £400

Here is a fitment guide based on the older DS3 eHDI but fitment is the same except for the adblue catalyst. Here we recommend that you keep the AdBlue and DPF systems fitted to stay road legal: Turbo upgrade guide PDF file.

SCR or Adblue Delete

If you are having problems with the SCR AdBlue system then we are able to offer a compete adblue and DPF delete solution, however we actually advise against this, it's better to keep the car road legal. If you can't fix it then we can remove it as a last resort.
